hey were making candy and carmel apples tmrw for halloween and we dont have a candy thermoneter and we have tryed before with the water and ball but doesnt always work. can you get candy thermoneters in west prince anywheres? or can u replace a candy thermoneter with anything?

Any kitchen store will sell them. And I know Walmart sells them too, so try there or Canadian Tire.

If you're using store bought apples don't forget to sand the skins with sandpaper before dipping.

Now I'm craving caramel apples :lol:

no help with finding a thermometer (did you try the grocery store up in tignish, or a general store? i'm not familiar with whats up there!), but a tip i saw about making candy apples:

to make them easier to eat, slice the apples first, sort of making apple lollipops! easier to eat (easier on the teeth!)
