Just got a call from wholesale travel option. Apparently my wife answered a survey of theirs in the summer and she can now get a prize. But we have to attend some kind of presentation Wednesday or Thursday at the Econolodge in Summerside to get it. They said there is no pressure to sign up and it's not a time share. I'm not sure what it's about at all. Anyone know anything about this?

My husband got a similar call for a meeting in Charlottetown but I don't know anything about the company.

The prize usually ends up costing as much as a vacation you would book yourself.
It may not be a time share but it is likely similar to the usual scam of trying to get you to sign up for a "club" where you get fantastic vacation deals "not offered to the public".
