We all know that some residents have a tough time getting roofs over there head. My point on this is hotels, alot of them do offer monthly rentals which is nice of them. So residents who pay them do they qualify as tenants? and do they have the same rights as if they rented a home or an apartment building, If not do you feel they should! I am one for fair treatment and feel it should be done as past practice would show they pay , they have pattern and they the landlord would be owners would they do whats right and fix any errors. ANd to add would they have to be listed as an landlord with IRac. I feel there are carins, bakers, summerside motel and mulberry to name a few to do this just curious of others opinions on this as i feel alot will go there with rent hikes on other rentals as was in news.

They are the same as hotel guests and the rates they pay are usually higher then an equal sized apartment.

I know of couple hotels who offer a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen amd sitting area for $1200 per month and they get maid service once per week and access to the hotel gym.

Resident dutchy u dont think it should be a two way street? I dont know much about the way it works but offseason its a gold mine for them to have a monthly rental, and when its peek they would make more of daily then they would monthly so nine times out of ten those people would be gone and homeless. I justcurious why not because sounds to me the Owners would have all the rights, i havent heard of alot of issues per say but the canadian i live in I feel if they rent then the renters should have rights just as much as the others. Just feel its gonna be something that comes in future as i believe with rental hikes going at irac that alot wouldnt want to be homeless tv, phone bed bathheat hydro they are gonna be a sure bet and they should be ok and not live on pins and needs. LOOKS LIKE A LANDLORD SMELLS LIKE A LANDLORD ITS A landlord. SO if past practice established where there is a monthly rental and understand something wrong that the owners are responsible then i feel could be argument so why i asked. great points and hope it keeps it going.
