Hi ya'll -

Help settle an argument for me and a friend...

We are wondering about strip clubs on PEI. Your personal opinions about such establishments aside - we are just wondering about their legality.

Are strip clubs illegal on the island or not?

We've been googling for a half hour and can't seem to find any legislation that says they are illegal.

Thanks.

I think the issues is with the liquor license, not that they are illegal (i.e. no booze at strip joints). Without liquor, they may as well be illegal.

From what I understand they are NOT illegal but there are certain rules that have to be followed. Like no lap dances and no complete nudity.

But I do know one bar that did have strippers a few months ago.
