Suffice to say that PEIinfo was, um, agressively advertised within the chat forum of PEIchat, a board that has been closed down for a few years now.

Ottawa is where I live and work (I'm a pirate). I must be from somewhere else though 'cause I've spent almost every summer by the ocean for the last 30 years. Pacific, Arctic, and Atlantic. My wife and I have had PEI property for years, (for burried treasure) and are now clearing and planning (pirate retirement home). The island cousins are happy.

Born in Nova Scotia, family moved to England when I was two, family moved to PEI when I was about to turn 10, and I moved to N.B. almost three years ago.
I think I first heard of this board from a friend, although I can't quite remember.

Holy crap Autumn, I didn't know you were from the Brook. Beautiful spot. Wouldn't wanna drive up the hill to MacD's in the winter though. Love it there.

Yup ED, I am from the Brook!! We went back several times after moving here, but once we kids all got older we didn't want to go anymore. but George and I did go there on our honeymoon in 1995. It was great. we toured most of the west coast. Corner Brook, Grand Falls, Right up to Leading Tickles, which is the most beautiful spot I have ever seen. I would love to live back there. Newfoundland rocks!!!!
