Last month I asked for people's opinions on whether it is better to use an iPhone with Bell or Rogers. I forgot to ask how Telus stacks up. Any of you have experience using a cell phone, or smart phone, with Telus?

for the network, Telus and Bell are the same network. As for customer service, I've been with Telus for years and stick with them because of the service.

I currently have an HTC smartphone and can't complain about the data service around ch'town. I've done some informal speed tests comparing load times on some webpages with a friend on their Iphone with rogers and we found Telus to be quite faster, but that was just an ad-hoc test.

TELUS

stay the hell away from bell. horrible, horrible customer service. i've been with telus for 5 or 6 years and they have been great with me from day one.. even if it did end up being my fault.

Ahha. So I take it that Telus tends to have a better rep than Rogers and Bell?

I have been with aliant/bell for 12 years and no complaints here. For coverage I would go with the recommendations and use either bell or telus. Rogers service is terrible.

Agree 100%......been with Bell since the first car phones were released (before the bag phones :( ) and have always had great service. Even better now that they closed the office here as when i have a issue with one of my phones I just call the 1-800 number they ship me a phone....I ship back mine in the postage paid box, then all in reverse when it's fixed......can't beat that service.
