Okay so some of you know, some of you don't and the rest don't give a hoot but I'm moving back out west to BC, next week. It's all happened a lot sooner than I had thought it would, but I guess things happen in their time, and our time is now! Yikes! A lot to do over the next week to get prepared - physically and mentally.
I love PEI, it's not a secret - and if our family were not all in BC/Alberta, wild horses could not drag us away from this little island. It's such a bittersweet decision for us but I think it's going to be the best one in the long run.
Anyway, I'll be off and on for the next week and hopefully once we're all settled and back into the groove in BC, I'll log back on and will still have a place on the boards

I was really trying to get a meet and greet together but as you know, my life is so hectic right now! Now that you are leaving in a week, there probably won't be time, but we should do lunch next week if you are still at work!
I will miss you!

Have a safe journey out and you are not allowed to tell us that you are wearing shorts while we are battling snow storms back here!

wishing you a stress free move ... and that you find all the stuff you need when you need it on the other end ....

Have a safe move, hope it doesn't take you too long to find everything when you do get there (there are things I still haven't found and we moved last summer!). I hope everything works out with your cat too! How exciting for all of you! (And don't forget about us when you get settled in!)

Yeah Willy - how'd you guess? Thanks, it's so far been the move from hell, but once it's over, will be well worth it to be with family again.

I remember you saying you lived there, CNC. I am in PG atleast once a month, guess like the saying goes, you can get the boy out of PG but can't get PG out of............. You won't believe the changes there esp the "hieghts" When you fly in first thing you will notice is the Pine trees have all turned brown from 100 mile all the way to Dawson and now flooding is a big thing.
But still having family is better.
Good luck!!

Good memory Yeah, hubby was telling me the city sure looks "concrete"-like without all the pine Sad sad. We'll be spending some time up in Terrace for awhile before settling in PG - house won't be available quite yet...bleh. Oh well, good excuse for a vacation!
