Although it's not a restaurant, this seemed to be the closest fit for category of post . . . . if it should be in a different section, my apologies. Now that David's Tea has been open for a few months, I'd love to hear of any favorite teas that you've discovered. There are so many different ones to try that I don't want to miss any really good ones, so I'm looking for recommendations Any new favorites?

I have a few - but my absolute favorite so far would have to be Forever Nutts. It just has such a sweet, comforting, nutty taste to it. A close second for me is Movie Night (it has popcorn in it) Birthday Cake is really nice, too.
So many good ones, I don't want to take up this thread listing them all!

Do they carry herbal teas? I have a severe allergy to caffeine, so they can't just be decaf, they have to herbal. They all sound yummy by the way!

They do have lots of herbal teas. The Forever Nuts, that Flutesong mentioned as a favorite is herbal. My favorite of the herbal varieties is Goji Pop, which tastes a bit like honeydew melon.
I haven't tried the Movie Night one - I'll have to check it out.

Thanks! I'm always a tad jealous when coffee drinkers rave on about the flavours they can get. So nice to know I'm not forever stuck with the usual cranberry and "Sleepy Time"

I like fruity ones. I still have many to try, but so far my favourites are Bear Trap and Pink Flamingo.

I got a small package of Pink Flamingo to try but I can't decide if I like it or not. I like the citrus-y parts but I'm not so sure about the eucalyptus undertones. I still have enough for a few more cups so will enjoy further testing My favorite teas change with my mood and the season. This week I'm craving The Earl's Garden for black tea and Goji Pop for herbal. In the fall I just couldn't get enough of the Pumpkin Chai but I seem to be wanting something with fruity flavors now that it's winter.

I've tried a few so far, but my favorite so far is Stormy Nights (black tea, cinnamon, coconut and vanilla) I add in a bit of honey to make it perfect. Keep in mind that I can't stand the taste of traditional tea (King Kole, Tetly, Some Rose Name). I haven't tried any of the herbals yet, mainly because I want something with caffeine in it as I don't drink coffee/soft drinks anymore. And for anyone wondering what all they have, Davids Tea has a really good website http://www.davidstea.com

I'm not a big tea drinker, but I was in David's Tea before Christmas and bought a few items. They have some really nice mugs, teapots etc.

I tried Amaretto and Alpine Punch over the weekend. (looking for non caffeine tea to drink in the evenings). I found Amaretto to be ok, the flavour kind of sticks to the roof of your mouth after you swallow for a few seconds leaving you to wonder if you enjoy the after taste or not. The Alpine punch I found overly sweet.
I think I'm going to try Gold Rush next.
For Glitter and Gold is the orange flavour the main flavour?

I found Glitter and Gold to have a predominantly cinnamon flavour. I wasn't overly crazy about the Amaretto either - found it just O.K.

I'll have to try some of these.
I was skeptical because I really like tea and have never been a big fan of flavored ones. I got a few small packages for Christmas and loved Santa's Secret so much that I went and bought myself a bigger tin.
Blueberry Jam was good but not a favorite
Cream of Early Grey was lovely.
Not a huge fan of the Pumpkin Chai but I know lots of people really like it.
Beyond the teas I now have both the "perfect tea mug" for my office and the Bodum travel mug. Love them both!

I stopped in today to try some of the new Spring Collection teas (and a couple of other's I had missed) I ended up getting trial sizes of Honeydew Mate, Gold Rush, Checkmate, and Pom Tango. I'm looking forward to taste-testing. So far I only tried the Pom Tango and it was good but not sure if it'll be worthy of a 2nd purchase.

Absolutely love Gold Rush! I wouldn't have thought it would be a favorite as I didn't know what mulberries tasted like and assumed they were fruit flavored but they almost taste like caramel. It's addictive and I've been back several times to purchase more in the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately it's a white tea so among the most expensive teas they sell, but worth it IMO. My current favorite black tea is still The Earl's Garden but craving Love Tea #7 and Red Velvet Cake from time to time, too. So many teas to try . . . . I still haven't found a green tea that is palatable so maybe that'll be the next experiment. Can anyone recommend a green tea for those who don't really like green tea (since the supposed health benefits are always in the news) ?

I know it sounds like a strange combination, but I LOVE "Movie Night". It has popcorn in it, and it's a warm comforting taste.

Thanks! I'll get a small pack the next time I'm in the store to try it out. Maybe green tea isn't really as bad as I remember . . . . I just have to find the right one
