Is it still open? I think I was in there once and yeah, it was basically a dive.

I found it a decent bar for working people kind of reminded me of sports bar for athletics who are past their prime plus for middle aged and older working people. It is in my experience like a working man's bar and a slightly dirtier version of Cheers from TV and the beer was much cheaper than other places. As long as your are friendly and don't think you are smarter or better than some of the others who go there you would be fine and also make some new friends.

I'm not a regular but have been there a few times. I'm not their target demographic I'd bet, but the few times I was there I had a great time. There's a dart board, free pool, and some good sized televisions. The bartenders seemed friendly enough and the beer was cheap.
If you want to drink cheap beer and play free pool in a very casual bar setting, this place isn't bad. It's not fancy, but I hardly think it qualifies as a dive (at least recently).
I have no idea what the food is like and probably wouldn't bother ordering some unless I was desperate.

Used to be a hangout of mine way back, never minded it and still don't. I also frequent the sportspage...

I didn't even realize they had food here, other than a few bags of chips.
I wouldn't call it a dive. It's not the fanciest place, but it's got cheap beer and free pool!

There may not be food. I just assumed they likely served something to eat, but perhaps not. On quieter week nights, its a great place to hang out with a group if you want to talk while having a few beer and a few games of pool.

CBCs Ron Maclean can often be found here during the summer months. More often than not loaded drunk.

Who cares. It has nothing to do with the restaurant. What the hell does Ron Maclean's drinking habits have to do with this restaurant review and who cares whether or not you know what restaurants he goes to? Completely irrelevant.

Rather than me doing that why don't you just stick to reviews of restaurants instead of pathetic little rumours and trying to pretend you have some inside knowledge of a man's personal activities that have nothing to do with any restaurant. like you're doing ??
