Ordered take out on Sunday,it was ready in 15 minutes and food was fresh.Ribs and chicken balls are really tender, only complaint was that the rice was dry.Would definitely order again.

I may have to try this place out - for those of you that don't find it to be 'awesome' food - what chinese resturant would you normally go to and like? I find it hard to wrap my head around a chinese food resturant with something that I consider to be a non-chinese persons name and for that reason alone I'd like to try it.

Yes Wayne is the former cook/owner of Blossoms. Home of the "Best" stir fry dishes in town. Not only is the food there great, it's also inexpensive. The restaurant is clean, the wait staff is friendly, and it's a good location.

I ordered lunch from Wayne's today for myself and my 2 1/2 year old.
When I called, the man who answered the phone was really nice, and didn't sound like I was interrupting him (I sometimes get that impression from other places). I ordered Cantonese Chow Mein, Chicken Soo Guy, and an eggroll. He told me it would take about 20 minutes, and gave me the price.

It actually took more like 35 minutes, but that was alright with me, since I wasn't in a big rush for my food. It wasn't quite as hot as I like, but it wasn't cold cold, and I didn't have to wait for it to cool off for my little girl. It's really just your typical Chinese food. The gravy on the soo guy was a little bland, but otherwise, I got pretty much what I'd expected. The prices are on par with what other places charge. We're both full and happy. I don't know if I'll switch from our "regular" (Which really is about twice a year) Chinese place, but it's not totally disgusting like some I've had, so I'll keep the menu in the drawer. $26.50 for the lunch, and there's enough for lunch tomorrow too.

My daughter's review -
"Wook! Chicken! Mmmmmm. Rice. Yummy noonles!" (noodles)

My wife and I tried Wayne's tonight to take home after work. I had dropped in on my way downtown to pick up and ordered and asked for everything to be ready in about 40 minutes. The girl who took my order was very pleasant and said she would have it ready then. It was just being bagged up when we got there. We each got one of the special plates with an egg roll, rice, chicken chow mein and chicken balls. We both thought it was pretty good - there was lots of food and it seemed as good as any other Chinese food we've had in Charlottetown. Also it was pretty reasonable - around $20 total. Anyway I'd recommend it as a good option for Chinese food.

Clean spot. Good service. Good food that's not too greasy and reasonably priced.

Exactly. Many chinese people change their first name to more suitable north American type name. I know a couple in Summerside that are both from China that have a typical North American name. I believe they also gave their child a chinese and North American type name.
