Yes, I think he is intentionally going after the take out market ... and may be a smart decision.

Hmmm ... might order from there now.

again, less on the soap box and more on the restaurant. It seems to be the same general people who turn threads into a soap opera instead of discussing the topic.

What soap opera? There was no bickering or antagonizing, it was just some light-hearted humour....is that not allowed? :?

From the rules of the board:
Quote:
7. Do not post off-topic. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject and purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic and/or silly commentary -- are not allowed and as such posts will be deleted. If there is a connection between two topics and you do not make that connection clear, then that's your fault and as such may result in a warning.

When I see review threads bumped, I want it to be an actual review or discussion on a review. Having the same thread bumped with off topic wanking defeats the purpose of having a forums dedicated to a single topic.

Just to add some content, I went to Wayne's last night. Here are a few thoughts:

Time was super quick, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. When you get your food that quick you know it's not fresh and it only took as long as it did for the deep fried stuff to cook, but with Chinese take out that's pretty much par for the course. The front area is very clean and the lady who took my order was nice.

I found the rice to be pretty dry and had a little smokey/burnt grill flavour. I've had worse in Charlottetown but I was glad for the Soy Sauce packet to give it some moisture.

The egg rolls were pretty generic. Nothing bad but nothing new either. Same goes for the chicken balls.

The ribs again were pretty generic, however they were very tender and the sauce was thicker than some which I liked.

The chicken/vegetable dish was pretty blah. As it was the only thing that was different from every other Chinese combo plate I was hoping for something wow, but it just didn't deliver.
