got to try it yourself and be your own judge! the saying "one man's garbage can be another man's treasure" here (maybe sub in "crap on a plate" for garbage and "gourmet dinner" for treasure, ha)

I can't comment on the Wayne's experience, as I've not eaten their stuff in quite some time, but...

I think one of the problems with many restaurants on PEI (and, I imagine, everywhere) is the lack of consistency from experience to experience.

Plus, everyone has different tolerance levels for what is considered sub-par quality and service. One person's "pretty good" is another person's "awful".

Wayne was the original owner and cook of Blossoms up until just a few years ago. He now owns Waynes Takeout.

Got waynes 3 times and 3 times they forgot a few things out of the order the last time they forgot the chicken sue guy.. a order of rice and 4 orders of fries.. Was not to impressed with the service I have recived as they should have recooked the whole order as by the time i got the fries etc the rest of the food was starting to chill and on top of that i had to pay for the extra fries.. At least they should have been free.. But they were pretty busy so mistakes do happen but 3 times.. I know it will be long before i go back again..

Our last order from there wasn't great. It all tasted very bland. Probably won't be ordering from there again. :(

we ordered 14 meals from Wayne's last month-for a work party. - We had it delivered and all the food was good. Yes, some complained but the majority were more then happy. Some of us even had food left over to take home.
I enjoy Wayne's but like so many have said, would be great to have seating and a bigger parking lot. Then again, his rent would be higher and he would have to pass those costs to us in higher prices. I also like to eat Chinese food at home so if I have to loosen my belt, no one gets hurt.
Over all, I give Wayne's 7-10

If you look back at the start of this thread there was a reference made to the name "Wayne's" being attached to a Chinese restaurant. Wouldn't Wong's be more authentic?
The funniest reply was this one:
QUOTE: is that next to Mings English pub and eatery?

I consider Wayne's to be rather fitting, considering it is the owners first name
