#2 I agree with if you're thing is salad and/or dessert bar. That place is crazy for that. For the main course? Not as much.

For #10 being the best burger, if Pan's the best one in PEI It looks like I"m waiting till Christmas to get a good burger then. :(

I'm also a Noodle House fan. One of my students works there. All of my chinese students tell me it's the only place they've been to on PEI that had food that reminded them of home. Recommend: Hot Schezuan Tofu Noodles

Also agree with Sirenella's. Recommend: That fungi fettuccine goat cheese plate of deliciousness. Ahhhhhhhh.... it's been out of season since May and I'm DYING for it.

Quantity does not equal quality. I could go to bulk barn and buy 8 pounds of flour and stuff that down my throat for cheaper, doesn't mean it's any good.

Awful overpriced breakfast. Casa Mia or Maggies.

Lot 30 and Sirenellas I'll agree with though.

I am really curious why you would say that???? Have never been to Casa Mia's, what do they serve or do that is superior to Cora's? I go out for breakfast quite often and have found Cora’s to be the best so far, love the fresh fruit, smoothies, and omelets. I would completely understand if you had said Smitties is garbage, was a regular there one time, but it has really deteriorated, doubt I will ever go back.

I think the Globe should be in the top 10, I also agree that at one time Smitty's used to be top 10 in town but recent trips there have not been good. Also Rum Runners is very good.

I like that Cora's has fruit, but thats about the only thing I like.

I find the service is always slow (at the ones in Charlottetown and Fredericton, at least) and what you get is never worth the price you pay.

I find their product very inconsistent. Have had cold eggs on a few occasions, have had over easy eggs be completely cooked. I just know that I have a few friends that always drag me to Cora's and every time they screw my order up. But it takes so damn long to get the food in the first place you don't want to bother waiting around for them to do it again.

Casa Mia has a similar price point but their meals are really well done. Best eggs benedict in town, by far. They also have french toast stuffed with apples (delicious!), huevos rancheros, and most recently I had a smoked bacon and pear sandwich that was amazing.

That's my two cents anyway! I am more often than not fans of something local rather than chain restaurants anyway.

Thanks for replying, Holly. I don't mind the wait at Cora's because we are never in a hurry, more a social thingy. I was impressed because everytime I have been there the tea was hot, and I don't much care for cold tea, I don't have a whole lot of luck getting it hot. No order mix ups. Anyway, I do believe I will give Casa Mia's a try, love eggs bennie. I checked, but they don't have their menu on-line. Do they make smoothies there?

I think not having a menu online is one of the biggests reasons people overlook it. I know that I always check out a menu online before I go to a restaurant, usually..

Anyways, not sure on the smoothies, But I do know they make a mean chai latte!

Try the 2 for 1 steaks - then go to Sim's and see what the difference is. The difference is that you're getting 2 - 5oz steaks for what? $10 whereas you go to Sim's and get a 10oz steak for what $30 and what's even better is the steak at the Pub is leaner, juicier, and much more tender....

1. Sims. Sorry to disagree with the above comments about Dublin steaks, etc... but I believe that sometimes you get what you pay for. The ambiance, service, wine selection, steak, desserts at Sims are outstanding. It is my go-to spot for a special dinner.
2. Lot 30 is amazing. Try the duck! (though, I did hear rumours that Lot 30 is closing??? NOOOOO!)
3. Pilot House - prime rib sandwich!!!! Sticky date pudding!!!
4. Sirenella - the polenta with truffles, mushrooms, and blue cheese appetizer makes me purr.
5. Coras. Used to run the place, and now I constantly crave it. A love of Cora's seems to be controversial in this thread. I am not here to defend my stance... I just really like it there. (Cleanest place on earth!)
6. Churchill Arms - the staff there make me so happy, and the food is delicious. Homemade soups, yum. British pub curries, yum. Chapatti of the day... YUM!
7. Cedars. A favourite since high school! MMMMM fattouche!
8. Beanz for lunch - I pretty much always try whatever is on special with a caesar salad that keeps me smelling like garlic for weeks.
9. Downtown Deli - the smoked meat is soooooooooooo gooooooooood, so fatty, but sooooooooooooooo goooooooooooood. I think it's so good because of the yummy smokey fat.
10. Formosa Tea House - stuffed bun, bamboo rice, and almond tea for me.
