Pretty pathetic on Canon's part to call this a "new" camera. This website sums up the (lack of) differences between the T4i and T5i.

You will never see a full frame rebel. Kind of defeats the purpose of the rebel line of digital slr's as being an entry level camera.

To be honest, I think with current APS-C sensors we are reaching the limit of pixel density.

Not to mention I can't see why anyone would ever need 17.9MP on an entry level camera. That kind of resolution is for pixel peepers.
