I had to scroll up and down a few times to make sure it was the same beach. How strange it looks with all the cars on it!

Strange but effective.....the no cars pic was in the evening with the tide coming in and the other one was mid day during prime time....we biked for hours without any obstructions and another part of the beach offers just walking public access which was pretty neat as well.

Very strict no drinking policy on the beach ... these guys are omnipresent to enforce that

Whatever they're doing, it works and works great......I covered a lot of beach area and I have never seen such a well organized and controlled place....even come closing time!

It is because of the fact that vehicles are allowed on the beach that no drinking is allowed ... inebriated (even slightly) drivers and inebriated (even slightly) beachgoers are not a good mix when they are sharing the same real estate.

Just what I want on a beach vacation, to be surrounded by cars in a giant parking lot...

The smell of exhaust fumes, oil, coolant and fluid dripping from leaky engines onto the sand...

I'll say it again.

gross.
