Using an old 200mm lens from the 80's on my Pentax P200 in the rain without a tripod and manual focus these shots aren't the best but I took these during a recent forestry course through UPEI at MacPhail Woods:

I learned how to call them on the course, they are very curious so if you know you have them in your woods it's not that hard to call them in!

Haha! Lovely pics, greenspree, and I love that I'm not the only one that sings that "Who cooks for you, who cooks for you? Ohhhh" song. :D

Awesome pics. I have to admit, after seeing the movie 'The Fourth Kind' I am kinda terrified of owls now, lol...creepy movie, and supposedly based on true events.

You should read up more about "The Fourth Kind". ;) It'll relieve your fear.

A lot.

The part that the story was based on was "missing people".

That's it, rest is fictional.

Yeah, I figured there was some non-truth to that movie, the 'real' footage looked pretty fake, and the movie is considered science fiction, but all the same, makes for a creepy as hell movie.
