I just ordered a new Nikon D40 with the zoom extra, and so excited but no idea how to use it. Hopefully it will be as easy and great as the photography class I am taking online is telling me.
What do you all have?

I got mine and WOW, some difference from the kodak easyshare I had. I am not going to lie as I am totally lost at programming it. But of the pics that I have taken so far, what a difference in quality. Something tells me that it will take me months to figure this all out though. But it is fun doing it :D

I wish I could upgrade to a 50D and get a 17-40mmL

But it has treated me pretty well over the last year!

I'm on the learning curve for my camera too but look at it this way. You live in a great place for taking pictures so take lots, they're cheap.

I just got the Nikon D90 with a 18-105vr and a 70-300vr. It is a great camera, I love how easy it is to use, takes great pictures. Overkill for what I do, but fun to play with.

I have a Nikon D200 with the 18-200VR and 50 1.8.
Such a sweet camera.
Have fun with yours. Photography is such a wonderful pursuit. You get out of it what you put into it.
Allthe best!

And got a Flip last year, hoping to expand away from the kit lens for the K200 this year.
