Hi,

I am looking for a camera for my wife. She is very much an amateur but she does have an interest in taking pics. I was thinking of getting her an entry level DSLR but I am not sure what would be a good, easy to use, entry level camera. I have looked at reviews but when it comes to ease of use, I am not sure if they are assuming the user is a newbie or if they are referring to someone with experience.

Thanks

This might help you out some, though, it's a lot of reading.

If you're still looking, Amazon.ca has deals on this week for Cyber Monday (online deals that follow Black Thursday/Friday) and there's a couple entry level Canon DSLRs

Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up picking up a T2i with a 18-55 kit lens. I think the camera will do everything needs. I may also pick up a 50mm lens.

Thanks
FS

A good choice, you can't go wrong with a nifty fifty either, it's always a good thing to have in the bag.

Enjoy!
