Post subject:  moving to PEI

Hello and good morning

i am moving to Charlottetown in June 2017 and i need some information from respected members

1) i have twin sons that will attend 11th grade when we arrive. (they study in IB curriculum)
are there any private IB schools / i noticed two junior high schools which sound good ,Colonel Grey and Rural High school. which one is better if i want to put my sons in government school ?

2) are you aware of any good IB junior high schools in PEI ?

3) Do i need a car to go around or taxis are available easily with fair price?

4) Which areas are best to live base on safety and connection?

i am living in Dubai for last 18 years with 50 degree heat in summer months. i hope we can adjust to the cold and thank you in advance for your responses.

looking forward to hear from dear members.

in Charlottetown, Colonel Gray and Charlottetown Rural (grades 10-12) are senior high's, Birchwood and Queen Charlotte are junior high's (grades 7-9), i think it depends where you live which school you attend. yes, we have taxi's, and a municipal transit (bus) system. i don't know about IB schools.

Yes, the International Baccalaureate program is available on PEI. I believe it is at both Charlottetown Rural and Colonel Gray High School, but both are high school, grades 10-12.
