Post subject:  Difficulties in obtaining perc test, septic, well aproval?

I am in the early stages of applying for permits prior to putting a modular home on my property. The property is located north of Charlottetown on the Hillsborough. Perc testing is scheduled for spring. I have applied for well and septic permits before but never on property so close to water. Has anyone had any difficulties getting approval for well, septic or building permits? I also read with great interest the reviews of modular home builders. Too large of an investment to get burned by a bad experience. I appreciate honest opinions. Thanks.

I don't have any experiance with modular homes but we didn't have any difficulties with ANY of the permits.

If you haven't seen it already this may help you out a bit -http://www.gov.pe.ca/photos/original/ELJ_B_Setbacks.pdf

It talks about setbacks from lot lines, waterways, beaches, etc for both structures and septic systems.
