I am wondering if there would be anything else open to public like clam digging? Oyster? Mussel? Scallops? Shellfish? Lobster? Anything else?
We are coming the first week of September.
Thanks a bunch,

Bar Clams, Softshell Clams and Quahogs you would be allowed to fish(must stay within the limits, 300 total, of which only 100 can be Bar Clams and 100 can be Quahogs, per person, per day. Bar clams must be 4" across their widest measurement, not sure of size limits on the other). Trout season runs to the 15th I believe, so you could fish for that but would need an out of province fishing licence. There should still be some Mackerel running that you could fish off some of the wharfs or you could go out deep sea fishing, you would have to pay some one to take you out but its a good time.

Scallops and Lobster you would not be able to fish, you need a commercial licence. Same with mussels although they are pretty cheap to buy if you go to one of the processors, around a $1 a lb. Also a good month to start buying oysters, I was buying them buy the peck (sp?) which ends up being a pretty big bag of Oysters for $15 last year from a local guy(Vernon Bridge, 20 mins east of Charlottetown).

Also would you be able to suggest some good spots in the island for "Bar Clams, Softshell Clams and Quahogs"? I am planning to be there the first week of September. Thanks
