Hello! I am situated off the 124 north in a small teeny town called Horning's Mills just outside of Shelburne. I agree people do put heat on way too high in winter - I am probably guilty of it myself! Have you lived on pei long? We are really looking forward to moving - we will be going to one-income status which will be very different for me! Going to have to find stuff/job/business I can do to keep busy!

Moved here in '96 for work. Used to drive by Horning's Mills a lot as my Grandparents were up in Stayner.

Can't say much about the job situation but there's always the start your own business thing! Lots of small business activity here.

Duh...true! How is the Island for walk-in clinics?
Gaidheal, we'll pay the extra sales tax and avoid all the gas guzzling we do to commute two vehicles into Toronto for work everyday! That adds up to approx. 600$/month!!! It's really brutal!

The best thing about Toronto is that it keeps 5 million people out of the rest of the country.

LOL

Oh hahah ahah that's a different way of looking at things!!! But true! Toronto is def something to be desired...my hubby and I met there and slowly moved our way out from small over priced studio apartments to actual houses with yards and foliage! Wouldn't go back - only to visit :)
