Sample some delicious soups while supporting the Indian River Festival!

Join us for an early fall afternoon filled with music and an array of comforting, homemade soups on Sunday, September 7th, 1-3pm. This will be the fourth year for this fund-raising event which has been a delicious success each year. Various restaurants and chefs create varieties of soup made with fresh, local ingredients. For the price of your ticket, you can sample 4 different soups which come in 4oz servings, home made bread and wonderful music. Guest servers include Matt Rainnie of CBC's Island Morning and the Honourable Wes Sheridan!

Soups include:
Samuel's Coffee House – Roasted Red Pepper
Mary's Bake Shoppe – Chicken Vegetable
Family and Friends Restaurant – Potato Bacon and Cheddar
FiveEleven West – Tomato Sausage and Lentil
Chesnut Catering – Green Tea Lemongrass with Sushi Rice and Thai Vegetables
O'Shea's Pub and Eatery – Beef Vegetable
PEI Food (Robert Pendergast) – Vegan Black Bean Chilli
René Hurtubise and Elaine Schuller – The Indian River Festival Soup

Wander between our spacious Festival tent where the soup will be served and St. Mary's Church where music will be performed all afternoon. Enjoy performances by Iain McCarville, Men of the Harvest and Jason Campbell.

It's a truly old fashioned gathering where you can enjoy scrumptious fall flavours made with locally sourced products, time with friends and family, music and above all, you are helping us continue to bring you exceptional music in an extraordinary venue!

This is a The PEI Fall Flavours Festival event! More info available at http://www.indianriverfestival.com or 1.866.856.3733.
