My favorite board game is definitely Guesstures. Its basically a fast paced version of Charades but with less strict rules. Great for large family or friend gatherings. Lots o' laughs!

Has anybody here played Settlers of Catan or Carcasonne?

Good games.

Settlers was game of the year in the US in '98 (I think)

Settlers is great. Looks like it is hard to learn, but give it ten minutes and you will be hooked.

We've got a pretty good collection, too.
Pictionary, Cranium, Monopoly (a couple of versions), Clue (a couple of versions), Scrabble, Headbanz, Loaded Questions, tile Rummy & Dominoes (even though they're not board games), How to Host a Murder (western theme)... some old one about making money buying & selling art, Life, True Dough Mania (based on Trudeau and losing money... an old one I got on eBay for my Mrs. for Christmas) backgammon... I know there's more. Just can't think of 'em all!
