I am contemplating buying one on sale that's $999.00 down to $399.00. I quite enjoy working out on a treadmill, and like to read while walking. Just wondering how many people out there have a dusty treadmill that is sitting there doing nothing. I'd like to think I would use it.... Any thoughts??

I won't lie. We have one in our basement, and although the thought of using it on a regular basis would be something I would want. It's sitting there collecting dust.

At first when we got it, we used it daily, but over time I guess it wore off.

Chances are it will end up collecting dust. Unless you can set it up in an easily accessible place without having to move it around. It wouldn't hurt to have a TV in viewing range either. I find that makes the time go faster.

:) Thanks for the thoughts. I've decided to buy a used one from a co-worker. Hopefully she will dust it off for me. I quit smoking last Feb. so now it's time to work on the few extra lbs. Here's to a healthy new year.

Hey. Proud to announce 6 lbs gone and jiggly bits aren't quite so jiggly. Come on you guys... dust off your treadmills. Put your fav music on in the background or bring along a good book. Works for me. :)

Oh, and when I celebrate my 1 year anniversary as a non smoker, sifting white sand in Cuba.... on Feb. 7th, it's with the money I have not spent on smokes. I'm no angel, I have my moments where I'd kill for one, but they pass. Life is good and health is better. Send me a message if you need some encouragement. I can certainly do that. :)
