I just wanted to post this here, because I know a LOT of people are either already going to Zumba classes or are looking to check it out.

On the official site, there is a spot where you can search and all official Zumba instructors are listed in the area where they teach.. .

http://search.zumba.com/instructors/location/

Hopefully this will help people looking for classes, because you can send the person a message etc, in case you have questions :D

Thanks for posting that link. I've been wondering about Zumba, heard many great things about it from numerous people. I'll definitely be checking into it. :)

It's Amazing!! It's not the exercise part is that its so much fun! You forget how much of a workout it is. It's the dance part that I just love. I just hit under the 300lb mark so I'm not slim chicken, but I can keep up with the rest of the crew pretty well. You'll have to let us know if you give it a try! :D :D

Some friends from work and I started going a few weeks ago. And I'll second Designchick's opinion - it's a lot of fun. I'm still trying to get some of the moves down... sometimes my feet don't feel like going at the same time as my arms... but when that happens I end up just dancing around to the music. As long as your moving right?

We go to the class on Tuesday/Thursdays at the Murphy centre - it's not overly crowded and there are all sorts ages/sizes that go. At only $5 a class it's a pretty good deal.

That's pretty awesome! I know here in Yarmouth class is 3 times a week and she usually goes over an hour. It's $7 here and worth every penny. I even made my own "zumba" pants yesterday. I've got 3 of the routines memorized and have lost 15 lbs in a month just from zumba :D

For anyone who enjoys Zumba - they have started an aqua Zumba class out at the CARI pool.

Runs Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45 and it's $5 to attend.

They raise part of the deep end so you're about waist deep in the water depending on your height.

Me and a friend went last night and it was a lot of fun - and a great workout!
