Hello,
I'm not much of a wine drinker, but am wanting to experience something new.
I'm not looking for something expensive, (maybe under $20).
I'm just wondering what some favorites are, and what ones have given you a 'buzz'?

Sigh .. I'l take this one ....

Any wine in the $20 range is a fun wine to drink ... I tend to try different white wines .. the occassional rose ... not a huge fan of red ....

I pick up a different wine every time .. just to see the difference ... and sometimes there is a lot .. sometimes very little and it is the bottle design or wine name that makes my $20 or less choice.

I presently have a bottle of "Cat Pee on a Bush" ... Aussie wine I think ... I could go check .. but when I went to look .. I ended up opening Sawmill ... I think there might still be a bottle of XOXO white wine ... and if I remember the last time I drank that .. I am still missing about 16 hours of my life ...

Great, thanks.
Are all those available at the liquor store in Charlottetown?

Nice! Thanks for this!

I love wine, but I tend to buy the same 2 or 3 different kinds all the time. I'd like to try something new, so I'll give some of these a try.

Try making your own wine......you'd be surprised how easy and cheap it can be and even rewarding to taste your own product.

Turning Leaf is good wine.
It was fun to watch all the wine snobs try and back track on their good comments on this wine when they found out it is a E&J Gallo product.

French Cross Shiraz is a very good dry, medium red for $9.99.

My favorite red is Wolf Blass Eagle Hawk Shiraz for $15.45. I love it! A good white is Two Oceans, not sure on the price but it is quite reasonable.

Jackson-Triggs sauvignon blanc is a decent white wine as is their pinot grigio but i'm no expert. I just started drinking wine about a year ago. Self-medication.

One I forgot to mention earlier is the Clos du Bois Zinfandel.
This may be the best wine dollar for dollar at the LCC.
Better get it quick though because it has been delisted.
I think it's on sale in the $15-$18 range.

I don't drink white at all, so I have no suggestions for that.

Red on the other hand:
Character Shiraz Malbec..........$9.36 (and it is excellent!)
Casa de Campo Eco Malbec......$13.26
Trapiche Malbec Reserve.........$10.99

They are all excellent and cheap. As you can see, I am partial to the Malbec...

Hmm, that's not real wine. that more wine cooler. it's like 5% alcohol. tasty sure, but not real wine.
