i see that someone posted a review of "The Road" (ddn't read it, cuz i want to read the book first!)

I got some Cormac McCarthy books for christmas "Blood Meridian" and "Cities of the Plain". Just started the "Cities' book on the flight from Ch'town to toronto. It's like reading a movie script, how the dialoge is. Sort of 'confusing', though confusing isn't the exact word i'd want to use....just don't know what other word to use to describe it!

ONe of my coworkers LOVES cormac mccarthy. He suggested i read the road a while ago, and i want to also pick up "no country for old men". loved the movie....so the book should be good, right??

I think Blood Meridian is my favorite so far.

I just finished reading The Road, and am just about to start reading Blood Meridian.

Both were quite good and quite different. I just happened to like the subject matter of Blood Meridian a bit more since I am a fan of the western genre.
