Here's a bit of perspective with regard to our government's proposed 'terrorism' law. You are 55 times more likely to be killed by law enforcement people than by a terrorist.

These statistics are from the US. We in Canada would be in less danger from terrorists, in my opinion.

We are also in less danger of being killed by police than in the US so the stats really have no relevance at all.

I suppose you didn't know our Police(here in Canada) are getting military training instead of regular police training. Isn't the training of the 2 very different?

That's funny because I don't know a single person within policing who is receiving military training.

Also...If you don't put yourself into a position where there is potential for the police to shoot you...you won't get shot.

Let's say for the sake of argument you are right, even though you have shown no evidence of this being true.
So what?

What does that training have to do with civilian fatalities at the hands of the police?
