$10-billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia

The Harper government is celebrating a recent $10-billion deal to sell Canadian-built armoured vehicles to Saudi Arabia, a country routinely condemned for its human rights abuses.

The deal, announced last month by International Trade Minister Ed Fast at the London, Ontario plant of General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), was secured with the assistance of the Canadian Commercial Corporation, the federal government’s international contracting agency (Steven Chase & Richard Blackwell, “Ottawa touts sale of military vehicles to Saudi Arabia,” Globe and Mail, 14 February 2014).

Wow. Could you be more of a hypocrite?
You would have no problem if we were selling to your heroes in Libya and Syria.

I don't know if it's taking a page out of the US book as I think many western countries sell arms to other countries. Clearly money comes before human rights, not that anyone should be surprised.

I'm glad you said that watch for my next post.
Have you heard From the news media what a mess Libya is today? Funny Gaddafi kept thing under control but this new Gov. the west put in it is still a mess 2 yrs later.
Syria omg I'm glad they are winning their case against war with the west ,I'm glad there is pressure to stop war same as in Ukraine The Anti jews and Nazi regime they put in there won't get their way either.

Pretty easy to keep things under control when you murder those who oppose you.
Perhaps your meds are not allowing you to remember that your scumbag hero was responsible to the murder of hundreds of people in a jet downed over Lockerbie Scotland.

How the hell do you know when a 67 pages of 77 page report was redacted?
Really even the people in Scotland don't believe that garbage, the families of the ones lost don't believe it but you still do lmao you are hilarious.
