We watched the first three shows but not sure if I like it enough to continue. The story has potential but I was a bit put off by the many naked women while all the male characters seemed to be clothed, big hairy Mongols. If there's going to be eye-candy it should be both genders IMO.

But wasn't that the way it was?

Although, I did read somewhere that Marco Polo's adventures were not all that exciting in terms of the action and violence.

I wasn't there, so really couldn't say. The scenes where they were auditioning concubines for the Khan really weren't necessary to the story so it looked to me a like an excuse to add nudity to bring in a different audience. As naked women really aren't my thing, I lost interest.
