I have a hard drive that is locked,it seems impossible to bypass it because when i start the machine up...........it looks for the password for the drive.

I can't get into the bios or start windows unless i can figure out what the password is first.

I have read different articles on how to unlock it,and i have had no luck thus far.

Just curious if anyone has any ideas regarding this?

Thanks....... :D :D :D

I know hirens boot cd worked with windows 7, but 10 locks the drive down a little more.

Anyway, you say you can't get into the bios either. At any rate windows should have no effect on your getting into your bios.
Is this a uefi bios or regular old fashion award type bios? Or as asked is this windows 10 or even windows 8 or 8.1.
Also do you have a bios password set or perhaps the entire hard drive partition encrypted?
