Post subject:  High speed internet only in cities? 50+ megs

Hi all,

I am toying around with the idea of buying a place in PEI. However I need decent Internet of at least 50 megs. Does pretty much restrict me to Charlottetown? How far can I stray into the periphery of Charlottetown and still get decent speed? What's the max any provider is currently offering in Charlottetown or anywhere else? Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe ch'town +s'side have that speed.
I seem to remember someone in kensington having Aliant fiberop. So certain areas should have it (I'd assume cornwall/stratford would have it).

But don't live in the country or you will get charged for $75.45 before tax for 1.5mb/s

I have FibreOp and I'm in Cornwall. I also had it when I lived in Summerside.
