Good day. I would like to build my own web site for a service I offer but I don't know a lot about the process. I have watched some tutorials on You Tube for Expression Web4 and will go back and watch them again.
My bro is an ISP in Ontario and has provided me registration.

Any advice on the best way to proceed or the best platform?
(I am a quick learner :) )

You could use a Wordpress template based site and have your domain forward to it.

I agree. Go to WordPress.com and set one up. Get your ISP to setup domain forwarding from the site, which is named something like mysite.wordpress.com, to your domain. You can also get options at WordPress.com to do this, but they cost more.

Should you want to get fancy in the future, you can then buy hosting services, and easily port the site from WordPress.com to your host. This gives your more options for themes, plugins, etc., but is probably not needed for your initial site.

You likely don't even need something as complex as WordPress. What about Wix, Squarespace, etc? These might be a better starting point for a "very easy" experience.

How did those suggestions work out for you?
