in a house?

Several houses... couple of apartments too... the house we lived in in Milton was torn down by the govt to build up the highway around it... at least the tree we played on still stands...

No Lanc the condo's are way out of my price range as I understand they start around $170,000.00. Thanks for thinking so highly of me though.

Lived in York for 16 years, then Charlottetown, then Halifax and then back to Charlottetown. While I was in Halifax I moved twice and I've moved twice since I moved back to Charlottetown. I'll be leaving the island again in the fall but I'm not sure where I'll go... no doubt back to Halifax.

Well I came back to get away from somethings I did wrong on my first move over. One of witch was that girl I moved in with after only a month of dating/knowing her. If I stayed in Halifax we would have kept living together. She has since moved back to her home province, Newfoundland. Others include a chronic anti-socialism problem I started developing in Halifax after I started living with that girl. I only hung out with her and she was the only person I wanted to hang out with. Near the end I started hanging out with all the people who asked me out on almost a daily basis for pool and social drinks at the split crow and it was great.

Aside from all that crap I slipped into debt big time in Halifax. I was not wise with my credit cards and I let some bills rack up... I am paying these down and I hope to have my overall debt down to $1000.00 by the end of the Summer. If I get the new job I should have it all paid off by the end of the Summer.

I liked Halifax and I liked the people there. But I did somethings wrong and I wanna give it another shot.

andy: It appears that you are doing better on the island than Halifax! You are paying off your debts and maybe later will get ahead! Just an observation! Are ya still at the mall! :)

Where am I from? Where am I not?

Born in S'Side as the product of a torrid affair between a Navy sailor from 'away' and a poor little girl from the stinky west end of town on the wrong side of the tracks...

Early years living 'away' at the Navy base in Halifax. Short stint at a military base in Ville La Salle (Montreal), back to Halifax, a longer stay later in Trenton Ont, back to Halifax, over to S'side, again back to Montreal (St Hubert), back to S'side, again back to Halifax only to come back to S'side, then I graduated out of highschool...

Later years after a stay at Cavendish Farms as a laborer, S'side to Sydney NS, on to Halifax, Cold Lake Alberta, Edmonton & then on to Ottawa then back to S'side and around PEI. 25 years in total

Honest, I don't find the locals refusing to drive more than 20 minutes to work and having a hard time spitting out their mother's apron strings all the while whining for a handout odd... honest, I really don't. I love it here.

Calico, looking for a button to push.

I'm making less then I was in Halifax and I work less here. My bils in Halifax were a little lower too. I paid around 300 a month for everything. I pay 310 a month for everything and another 40 for my cell phone. The reason why my debt stayed up in Halifax is because I was spending money on myself more. Buying clothing and going out to dinner and the movies a lot. I do nothing like that here. My going out on PEI consists of me and a bottle of wine.
