4K/108OP Android Quad-Core TV Box

Does anybody have one of these and does it replace your cable? Is it difficult to install. We currently have Cable TV and Kodi from the desktop computer which is connected to our TV. Thank you.

It would be the same as your Kodi......without the computer. To me, it's not a replacement to live TV. Too much of a pain in the ass, with no such thing as tech support.

I have an Android box, and hardly ever use the damned thing. I always spend more time trying to make it work than I do actually watching programming.

Your mileage may vary.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think we would use it much either so I won't bother with the hassle of buying and hooking up one.

Merry Christmas

If you can follow simple instructions with ten or less steps then installing kodi and the latest addon is pretty simple. There are also simple android apps that on their own without kodi are also great for tv shows and movies, and iptv with a guide is pretty simple, though it is best to use a paid iptv provider, they usually require a yearly nominal fee.
The best experience is had on an android box that uses android tv rather than a phone version of android.
The nvidia shield tv currently $199 and is the best there is if solid hardware with decent updates is your desire. The shield tv is also great for netflix. youtube, and amazon prime video. I seldom if ever watch regular tv networks anymore with youtube my first choice, followed by netflix, kodi, and occasionally amazon prime. Youtube on it's own is more than enough to satisfy anyone's viewing habits, even movies except current releases there for ones viewing pleasure.
