As much as I hate the brand capitalization and corporate cash-ins tied to events like the X-Games and Gravity Games I am a big fan of some of the sports/events held.
The BMX and mountain bike stuff as well as trials and street are my favs to watch, just wondering if there are any other fans out there?
Oh, and the Ecochallenge races are awesome as well, although mosts teams are just hoping to finish those rather than shoot for good times!

Besides the commercialization, Do the Dew™, if it were more legitimized, would you watch more of it?
Moutain Biking is fast becoming a legitimate sport, and is even an Olympic sport (they call it cross-country cycling...)

I didn't expect to ever post in the sports section, but this is something I do like. I like the more nature/individual oriented sports. But it's funny the community you join in these "individualistic" sports, very friendly (usually). The commercialization is IMO a necessary evil for the growth and respect for these sports (like snowboarding/wakeboarding).

Nope, don't watch much TV, very little in fact.

I have the first season on DVD if you wanna borrow it. It's a freeride moutain biking show taped in BC and Alberta, basically a show about a bunch of guys living on a bus for a summer and touring western Canada and hitting all the bike parks, downhill trails, dirt jumps and whatever they can find. If you are into mountain biking, you'll love it!
