I think that there were fewer children at that time, after the baby boom. I know there must be some people still alive out there, I went to high school with quite a few people. Maybe they all moved away.

I graduated in '73 but not from CGHS. You know you are old when not one single school you went to, exists anymore.

To add insult to injury, my elementary school is now a senior citizens complex. A few years 'til I need that.

Phhhht. (Blowing the dust off this thread).

1980 here. That was the year the graduating class physically graduated from Queen Charlotte. Our Gray was torched and QCJH kindly loaned us the use of their haunted, er hallowed halls.

Only two of the six schools of mine no longer exist... 2 of 7 if the streets of Charlottetown count as schoolin'.
