I went to the first home ice exhibition game last night vs. the Titan and I thought it was pretty good. The Rocket goaltenders seemed sharp, the defence moved the puck well, the team looks bigger and more physical than last season, they can put the puck in the net (at least they could last night) and the rookie Alexis Pepin was a lot of fun to watch. He scored a very impressive goal, he hit lots, blocked shots and is a decent skater. Cautiously optimistic for the upcoming season.

Pretty well the same as any other year, but I do agree with your assessment of last night's game.
