No one is saying we need no laws. There are plenty already in place that govern where and when a gun can or can not be used and who can use them, has been for many years now.
However we as a society have every right and duty to complain when laws are unjust or simply don't make any sense, and the registry as it was presented was one of the most senseless laws ever contrived by our government to date. There are already enough checks in place in this country regarding gun usage by the average user.... ]]>

your facts and percentages would have more meaning - or less, depending on your point of view - if you factored into the equation how many knives are found in households across the country.

i am a dog owner. i raise my pets to be well trained. there behavior and training would rival that of any dogs, short of a working sheppard for the police or blind. i'm confident i could walk with them down the street without leashes and nothing would occur. they don't mind other dogs, or people, unless i give them the ok. their only concern is obedience and reward for obedience. should i be allowed to walk down the street without leashes on my dogs? should i be able to own dogs without registering them? the point is moot, as i choose to have dogs and live in the city, i also choose to obey the rules that accompany my choices.

Katrina only made landfall as a category 3 hurricane, it wasn't actually that powerful of a storm compare to others that same season such as Rita. The reason Katrina did so much damage was because it hit a city built below sea level and cause the dikes protecting it to fail.

Head Coach Eric Lavigne added that “Travis was a natural selection for Captain. He leads by example, both on and off the ice. He is a great example for our young players and will be a great asset to the organization this season”.

The Rocket will hit the ice for an exhibition game against the Saint John Sea Dogs on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the Charlottetown Civic Centre. Tickets are $5 for season ticket holders and $7 for non-season ticket holders. All seating is general admission and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Rocket office or CCC box office. Only if you intend to drive it on a road street or highway. Intend to let it sit in your driveway for all eternity for whatever reason, you are legaly good to go. Buy it from a dealer, indeed you must pay taxes, but there is no need to regester it if you don't want to drive it on a road.
